The next destination of the Penza delegation was the enterprise “Bukhara Agrocluster DZZ” within the “Bukhara Agrocluster” system.
The delegation members got acquainted with the work process here.
In particular, the modern laboratory that determines the fertility of land plots in the enterprise system aroused great interest among the guests. The laboratory is equipped with modern German technologies and is able to determine more than forty soil composition indicators and about ten water content indicators.
The salinity level of arable land in the Bukhara region is higher than in other regions. Soil analysis is extremely necessary to achieve productivity. This laboratory studies the chemical composition of the soil, thereby determining the need of plants for mineral and organic fertilizers. Soil properties and salinity levels are also studied in depth. Based on its results, measures are taken to normalize the land.
The information generated here is uploaded to another project of the enterprise - the “Agro Smart Map Uz” platform. Based on this information, landowners will receive the necessary agro-technological recommendations.
The participants also examined the conditions in the laboratory. They were told about the system of work of the enterprise and the laboratory, its advantages, as well as the next projects of the “Bukhara Agrocluster”.
