An exhibition-training and practical seminar dedicated to the annual season, the coordinated organization of grain harvesting in the region, and the readiness of grain harvesters and supporting vehicles was organized at the Garden Bukhara Agrocluster LLC in the Vobkent district.

The event, which was aimed at quickly and qualitatively disposing of the wheat harvest, a source of food and livelihood that was painstakingly grown by peasant and small-scale farmers during the current season, was attended by the deputy governor of the region for agricultural issues Amrillo Nazarov, the regional prosecutor Ulugbek Hamdamov, the head of the regional Department of Internal Affairs Ikromjon Tursunov, the head of the Department of Emergency Situations Shukrullo Ayubov, as well as district governors and officials of agricultural agro-clusters, suppliers, service enterprises and organizations.

Of these, currently 59,780 hectares of land are under commercial grain, 5,220 hectares are under seed grain, and the goal is to increase the total grain harvest to 520,000 tons by the end of the harvest season. The grain growers of Mirishkor have begun efforts to increase the yield per hectare to 80 centners this year, in exchange for their hard work. It is also planned to harvest 15,700 tons of seed grain this season.

Bukhara grain growers produced 13,373 tons from 5,462 hectares of land in Bukhara district, 16,780 tons from 6,661 hectares of land in Vobkent district, 18,971 tons from 7,201 hectares of land in Jondor district, 12,530 tons from 4,511 hectares of land in Kogon district, 6,034 tons from Karakol district. 17,100 tons, 15,715 tons from 5,926 hectares of land in Qarovulbazar district, 15,221 tons from 5,370 hectares of land in Olot district, 13,036 tons from 5,412 hectares of land in Peshku district, 15,898 tons from 6,414 hectares of land in Romitan district, 18,569 tons from 6,601 hectares of land in Shafirkon district. 12,630 of 5,246 hectares of land in the district tons of grain are being produced. In this regard, there are also experimental farms in the city of Bukhara, which are trying to increase their share with 8 thousand tons of grain from 161 hectares of land.

Currently, a total of 182 high-yield combine harvesters are being involved in order to quickly start the intensively prepared grain harvesting event in the region and to complete this season at a high speed and without losses. 134 of these units are “CASE”, 42 are “KLASS” and about ten are “VEKTOR” and “DOMINATOR” combines. If we add that 5 grain transport vehicles are attached to each combine during the harvest period, more than a thousand technical means of transport will be used in the grain fields during the peak season, which begins in the first week of June.

At the same time, 182 harvesting teams have been formed, consisting of teams of combine harvesters participating in the harvest, and representatives of fuel transportation, mobile technical service stations, as well as internal affairs and emergency services are being attached to them.
